The exhibition catalogue accompanying my long-term photographic project on the disappearing glaciers of the Alps brings together a carefully curated selection of images created over several years, primarily in Switzerland and with some work from France. A substantial part of the project focuses on the Morteratsch Glacier. The photographs move between vast glacial landscapes and intimate details: deep blue ice, sculpted structures and caves, traces of melt and retreat, climbers and mountaineers moving through this fragile high-alpine world, and sunrises and sunsets unfolding above the glaciers. Together, they reveal both the overwhelming beauty of the glaciers and the speed at which this extraordinary landscape is disappearing.

 

The book consists of 106 pages printed on heavyweight photographic paper, with a hardcover binding and presented in a luxury slipcase.

It is currently available in Italian and German. An English edition is coming soon.

In 2026, the catalogue received an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in the Professional category Book – Nature.
